What kind of honey do you recommend? I am having allergy problems this season and it was recommended that I buy local honey. I am confused, in my search I find either local non organic, or foreign organic? Is it possible to get local and organic and is it important that it be organic? What do you think?
Hi Jody!
I highly, highly recommend Really Raw Honey. (See http://www.Reallyrawhoney.com)
It is fabulous for allergy sufferers. I think it is important to have organic (although even the Really Raw Honey is not certified, but their practices are still organic) because if the bees are buzzing around pesticide laden flowers/orchards, plants, then those chemicals will wind up in your body too! Organic & local would certainly be best, but it's unlikely you'll find any, I never have.
Are you having sinus issues with your allergies? Garden of Life has a FABULOUS new product for Sinus issues. It's called Immune Balance Sinus- just type that in to Google and you'll find it!
Hope that helps some!
Thanks Catherine! The information was very helpful.
