Tip of the Day: Preserving Bananas


I have a whole bunch of bananas that are turning WAY too quickly sitting on top of my fridge, and so I thought I'd share my favorite banana preserving tip with you: if your bananas are turning brown too quickly, and you find yourself avoiding eating them (but don't want to throw them out) just take the peels off, put them in a bag and freeze them.

The frozen bananas are simply lovely to add to smoothies, like my favorite
protein lover's chocolate smoothie. They give a wonderful texture!
