Over the weekend, I made my husband and I a delicious smoothie that I thought I'd share with you. It is an excellent source of protein, good fats, and enzymes, and tastes delicious too!
Chocolate Lover's Protein Smoothie: (Serves 2 adults)
16 oz. organic raw milk
1 tablespoon organic cocoa powder, such as Rapunzel's
1-2 tablespoons organic peanut butter from Valencia peanuts (I like Maranatha's) (Do 1 tbsp for less peanut butter-ey, two tablespoons for very peanut butter-ey)
2 organic bananas
2 organic free range egg yolks, or whole eggs
1 tbsp organic extra virgin coconut oil
1 spoonful organic, raw honey
Blend together in a blender, or for the best consistency possible, a VitaMix. Blend until well mixed, and desired consistency is achieved.
Then pour into two glasses and enjoy the chocolatey goodness!
